Full-text Search Integration with eMatrix™ Value Chain Portfolio

The eMatrix Full-text Search Integration allows users to search on the
content of files checked into eMatrix and uses the same search and
search results window available in the eMatrix Value Chain Portfolio
applications. More extensive searching of all the data in the eMatrix
database allows users to find exactly what they are looking for, no
matter if it's included inside a document or an object in the database.

How it Works
During check-in of a file into eMatrix, the eMatrix Full-text
Search Integration automatically indexes the file. To conduct a
full-text search, users enter their search criteria on business
objects and/or a text string for the data they are seeking,
using the full-text search entry fields on any standard Value
Chain Portfolio application's search screen. Based on the
search criteria and the users permissions, the integration will
get a list of business objects, using eMatrix's standard search
capabilities.
